Oxford East Lib Dem campaigner Steve Goddard and several colleagues recently visited Oxford's Boundary Brook Nature Reserve as part of the nationwide Big Tidy-up. They spent a morning working to clear up the reserve before winter sets in, and were given a tour of this green space in the heart of the city.

Steve said: "Boundary Brook is a great example of a local initiative making a big difference. In this reserve, we have a brilliant resource for local people and especially for Oxford's schools: it's a great, hands-on way to teach our kids about the environment.

"I'm never happier than when I'm working out in the open, and I hugely enjoyed my morning at the reserve. I'll be doing all I can to help publicise and highlight the work Oxford Urban Wildlife Group does in Boundary Brook".
